A REFLECTION
By Leonardus Nana
The world history, especially the Bible wrote'there was a King named Salomon. Salomon, the King was born in 1000BC and died in 931BC.
Salomon, the King wrote many wisdoms and they're considered good virtue to our lives today. One of his virtues is "If your Ax is blunt, you will work harder to use it." You can read it in the Book of Ecclesiastes 10:10.
Do you have an Ax? A farmer or a wood cutter must be very familiar with an Ax. How about you, students?
As a student, your Ax is your Brain, your Mind or your power of intelligence.
The farmer or wood cutter will always sharp his Ax before using it. A sharpened Ax is really helpful to ease the work of a farmer or wood cutter.
How about you Students, have you got your Axe sharpened? Likewise a farmer or a wood cutter who always sharps his Ax, a student should sharp his brain or mind or the power of intelligence before going into the todays world of work.
Every student must have a dream to have a sharpened mind. How to sharpen your mind? You can do it by learning.
Learning is a good activity done by learners in order to obtain knowledge and only by knowledge your mind becomes Sharp or clever.
What happened if your mind is blunt or unsharpened or dull? As it's said before, if your Ax is blunt, you will work harder to use it. On the same way if your mind is dull, you will get many difficulties in live. If your mind is blunt, you can't do your work successfully. When you do your work unsuccessfully, you will not be able to compete and when you can't compete, you will not win your life well.
Please sharpen your Ax, please sharpen your mind by learning and learning. By learning you will grow excellent then you will become the winner but not the loser.
